Eliel Lazo rejser hele verden rundt som en fornem ambassadør for jazz og cubansk musik. Lazo er anerkendt som en af de største percussionister i verden og spiller bl.a. med Michel Camilo.
Denne aften samler han endnu en gang et sandt drømmehold af virtuost spillende musikere bestående af guitarist og sanger Zacharias Williams og Kjeld Lauritzen på hammondorgel. Vi kan se frem til en aften med medrivende afro-cubansk jazz og sitrende toner fra varme himmelstrøg, der uden tvivl vil gøre det utrolig svært for en hver at blive siddende på stolen og ikke lade sig rive med.
’’The idea behind this new musical proposition, is to give us all back some of the happiness and strength 2020 and 2021 has taken from us. I come from Marianao, Havana Cuba, a place full of rhythms and traditions many of which can be found and felt in my new music. I have always been curious and addictive to practice and innovation when it comes to my playing, my music and my projects. I think this hammond trio using a percussion set and including a few drum set elements, is the new thing and a world premier. Our music is chill and can be enjoyed while doing many different relaxing activities but don’t get it twisted, you can also dance it. Hope you like it as much as we do’’
